Represented by Guangdong Junzhiquan Law Firm, Glodon Company Limited triumphed in three patent infringement lawsuits filed by Haishubao Company for software invention patents at the Guangzhou Intellectual Property Court. On October 8, 2023, all three lawsuits concluded with Glodon’s victories as Haishubao Company withdrew its complaints.

In a closely related development, Junzhiquan also represented Glodon in three parallel cases of invention patent infringement against Haishubao at the Shenzhen Intermediate People’s Court. The court agreed with Junzhiquan’s defense, rejecting the plaintiff’s claims in all three cases, with the rulings becoming effective on September 4, 2023.

Furthermore, Glodon achieved a comprehensive victory in the patent invalidation proceedings against Haishubao’s three patents. After more than a year of diligent effort by the Junzhiquan team, the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) declared two of the patents completely invalid and partially invalidated the third.

In the series of patent infringement cases involving Glodon, the products in question were software, and the patents concerned method patents, presenting greater challenges in technical comparison and a scarcity of analogous cases than typical patent infringement litigation.
